Keith Ellis serves as Vice President for Legal & Compliance at Expansion Capital Group. Keith started his career as Minority Counsel (Republican) of the Committee on Banking Finance and Urban Affairs of the U.S. House of Representatives. He then served as the Legislative Counsel and Chief Lobbyist for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, where he was the liaison with the National Conference of State Legislators. Keith served as the State Bank Commissioner of the State of Delaware, under Governors Castle and Carper. During that period, he chaired the Expenditures Committee of the Delaware Financial Advisory Committee. In the private sector, he served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of AIG Federal Savings Bank and the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of County Bank Delaware. Keith also spent time as a partner in the law firm of Duane Morris LLP and as counsel to Seward & Kissel LLP. He received his law degree from the Washington College of Law of the American University and his undergraduate degree from The George Washington University.
